This has to be one of our absolute favourite cakes, using a soft palate of white, ivory and silver. The bottom tier was covered in hundreds and hundreds of petals, the middle tier was painted with a silver lustre then overlaid with shimmering white branches and then to finish the top tier a ring of handmade flowers including roses, peonies and other garden flowers which goes right the way around the cake, I like to call this the never ending cake as that’s how it felt when I was decorating it, but after 2 very late nights we have The Flower Ring Wedding Cake.
The Cake flavours were Sea salted caramel, lemon drizzle and white chocolate and passion fruit.
The venue was from the cover of a bridal magazine, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a gorgeous set up, the venue was the family garden in the heart of the New Forest and in the garden was a tepee style marquee decorated with the most gorgeous accessories and flowers.
